“Personal Pronoun, Possessive Pronoun, Reflexive Pronoun, Demonstrative Pronoun”

A pronoun is a word that's substitutes a person/ thing, usually appears in repetition. A pronoun varies in form depending on what/ whom it refers to and in accordance with syntactical function.

Examples:

Examples:
a.    This is your pencil and that is mine.
b.    This is my pencil and those are his.
c.     This is my pencil. This pencil is mine.

Note:
# A dependent  possessive pronoun is followed by a noun.
# An  independent possessive pronoun cannot be followed by a noun.

3.    Reflexive pronoun

Reflexive pronouns are used:
a.    To show that subject and object is the same.
1.    He killed himself.
2.    She spoke to herself.
b.    Self-supported (doing a thing alone)
1.    I my self open the window.
2.    My mother cooked this meal herself.
c.    Alone
1.    She went there by herself.
2.    I did my work by myself.

d.    Demonstrative pronoun

a.    This is used to point people/ things which are physically close to the speaker, and for situations that one is in at the moment of speaking. That is used  to point people, things, or situations which are more distant (in space or time). This is related to here, and that is related ti there.
·         Sometimes I wonder what I’m going in this country.
·         This is really delicious – How do yu make it?
·         Get this cat off my shoulder.
·         Have you heard from that Javanese boy you used to go out with?
·         That smells nice – Is it for lunch.
·         Get that cat off the piano.
b.    When talking about actions or situation, that is used to talk about finished action/ situation this is used to talk about things which are just going to happen.
·         That was nice. (what happened was nice).
·         This will be interesting. (the coming event will be interesting).
·         Who said that? (someone has said something).
·         Listen to this? (I will tell you something).
c.     On the telephone, this is used to introduce themselves, and that is used to ask who the other person is.
·         Hello. This is Setiawan. Is that Kadita.
The plural form of this  is these, and the plural form of that is those.
·         This is my brother, these are my sisters.
·         That book is yours, those are mine.
